How It Works
Tell Us What's Going On
Give us a call or bring the printer in. Describe the problem — error messages, what it's doing (or not doing), and what you've already tried. Diagnostics are always free.
Diagnose & Be Honest
We'll figure out what's wrong and tell you what it'll take to fix it. If the repair cost doesn't make sense compared to a new printer, we'll tell you that — no sugarcoating.
Fix It or Guide You Forward
If the repair makes sense, we get it done. If replacement is the better call, we'll help you pick the right printer for your needs and get it set up.
Common Questions
Is it worth repairing my printer?
Honestly? It depends. Our minimum labor rate is $149, and for a lot of home printers that retail for $80–200, the math doesn't always work out. We'll diagnose it for free and give you a straight answer. If you'd be better off buying a new one, we'll say so. For business copiers and higher-end MFPs, repair almost always makes more sense — those machines are expensive to replace.
My printer says it's offline but it's turned on — what gives?
This is one of the most common printer issues out there, and it's almost always a connectivity problem — the printer lost its Wi-Fi connection, the IP address changed, or something in the driver configuration went sideways. Sometimes it's a quick fix we can handle through Remote Support. Give us a call and we'll figure out the fastest way to get you printing again.
Can you help me set up a new printer?
Absolutely. We'll unbox it, install the drivers, connect it to your Wi-Fi or network, make sure every computer and device that needs it can print to it, and test everything before we call it done. If it's a network printer for a business, we'll configure shared access across the whole office.
I just need my printer to connect to my Wi-Fi — do I have to bring it in?
Not necessarily. Simple connectivity issues can often be resolved remotely. Check out our Remote Support page or give us a call — if we can fix it over the phone or through a remote session, that's the fastest and cheapest option for everyone.
Do you work on business copiers and Xerox machines?
We do. Larger business machines — copiers, multifunction printers, commercial-grade equipment — are actually more cost-effective to repair since replacement costs are significantly higher. If your office copier is acting up, bring us in and we'll take a look.
Can you help if my printer is printing poorly — streaks, fading, smudging?
Yes. Print quality issues can come from dried-out printheads, low ink or toner, dirty rollers, or alignment problems. We'll figure out what's causing it. Sometimes a good cleaning is all it takes — other times a part needs replacing. We'll give you the full picture and let you decide.
Can you set up my printer to scan and email documents?
If your printer supports it, absolutely. Scan-to-email, scan-to-folder, scan-to-cloud — we'll configure it and make sure it works. This is especially useful for businesses. If you're not sure whether your printer has scanning capability, just give us a call or check out the model info and we'll let you know.
