DATA RECOVERY
Lost files, corrupted drives, accidental deletions — we do everything we can to recover your data. Whether it's a failing hard drive, a damaged SSD, or a system that won't boot, we'll work to get your documents, photos, and files back.

Your data matters. We treat every recovery case with the care it deserves, and we'll always be upfront about what's possible before any work begins.
Labor starting at $149. Free diagnostics — always.
Common Recovery Scenarios
Failing Hard Drives
Clicking, grinding, or not spinning up — we can often pull data from drives that are on their last legs before they fail completely.
System Won't Boot
Can't get into Windows or macOS? We can pull your files off the drive even when the operating system won't cooperate.
Damaged SSDs
Corrupted firmware, sudden failures, or drives that aren't detected — SSDs fail differently than hard drives but we work those too.
Ransomware & Corruption
Files encrypted or corrupted by malware? Depending on the situation, we may be able to recover clean versions of your data.
Accidental Deletion
Emptied the recycle bin? Formatted the wrong drive? If the data hasn't been overwritten, there's a good chance we can get it back.
Physical Damage
Water, drops, power surges — we'll assess the damage and do what we can. Some physical damage is recoverable; we'll tell you honestly.

How It Works
Bring It In
Drop off the device or drive. Tell us what happened and what you're hoping to recover — the more we know, the better.
Free Assessment
We'll evaluate the drive at no charge and tell you what we can realistically recover. No surprises, no guesswork — just an honest answer.
Recovery & Return
Once approved, we recover what we can and transfer it to a safe location — a new drive, USB, or external storage of your choice.
A Note on Recovery
We'll always be straight with you: not every recovery is possible. We handle low-level data recovery in-shop — pulling data from failing drives, recovering deleted files, extracting data from unbootable systems, and similar scenarios. A lot of cases fall into this category, and we're good at it.
But some situations — severe physical damage, head crashes, fire or flood damage — require a professional clean-room lab. For those cases, we partner with Flashback Data in Texas, one of the most trusted recovery labs in the country. They also offer free estimates and free shipping, so you won't be going in blind.
Either way, we'll diagnose your drive for free and tell you honestly whether it's something we can handle here or if it needs to go to the lab. No charge, no pressure.
Common Questions
How much does data recovery cost?
It depends on the complexity. Simple recoveries from a working drive start at our standard labor rate. More complex cases involving failing hardware may cost more. We'll always give you a quote after the free assessment — no hidden fees.
How long does recovery take?
Simple recoveries can be done the same day. More complex cases — especially failing drives that need to be imaged carefully — can take several days. We'd rather go slow and get your data than rush and lose it.
My computer won't turn on — can you still get my files?
Usually, yes. If the drive itself is still functional, we can pull it out and recover your data even if the computer is dead. The drive doesn't care what machine it's in.
Should I keep trying to use the drive?
If your drive is making unusual noises or acting erratically, stop using it immediately. The more you use a failing drive, the harder recovery becomes. Power it down and bring it in.
Do you recover data from Macs too?
Absolutely. We handle data recovery on both PCs and Macs, including APFS and HFS+ formatted drives.
